I was up very early this morning thanks to a very inaccurate bad dream (Sorry for scaring you Raulie. I love you!) After calling to confirm that my brother was indeed ok, I watched my favorite TV show of the 90s, Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
During one of the commercials I saw something that caught my eye. First it was a super cute collage of mutts, of which I'm a big fan. Then I realized that Nick at Night is hosting the Worldwide Fido Awards. It's not like the AKC/Eukanuba, obsessively brushed, trot around the ring, 'oh isn't that ugly-ass breed so cute' type of dog show. This is for regular household dogs like my beloved Fido. And even though Fido is now barking incessently while looking out at us from Heaven's window, I know he would have won "Best Neurotic Dog" hands down!
Love you Fido! You're my dog!
The Worldwide fido awards will be awesome! My dog Pugsly has made it to the top 4 best voice nominees, if he gets the most votes out of the other 3 he will be on the show which will be taped live. Please vote for Pugsly so he can be on the show!
