Sweet Wine with Love

My Dad and Stepmom rock! Upon hearing of our engagement, they have been nothing but supportive of us both. It's nice to have the chance for all of us to spend even the smallest amount of time together over the holidays. It was way too short, of course.

When we returned from Cali, a HUGE package was waiting for us in Virginia. This bad boy was heavy, which is good because no one decided to steal it as it sat on our doorstep for a few days.

When I knew

You often hear people ask,"When did you first know that's who you wanted to marry?" Well, for me it was when we moved into together. You don't open up your home to just anyone. There are many hurdles to jump and tests to pass before someone can trust you enough to want to share more than just there heart. I for one am so glad that she not only opened her door but her heart to me. Thank you

One of the questions a newly engaged couple gets the most (aside from 'when's the date?' and 'when are you having babies?') is how the proposal went. I kind of knew it was coming, but not when. On our 6th anniversary it was a really nice day. Because we had our official dinner scheduled for a week later (Central Michel Richard was booked for our actual anniversary date), I thought it would be then. But after a fantastic day of walking around the DC Botanic Garden, watching the Saturday hub-bub on the National Mall and spending a lovely evening in, Keith proposed. I was so concerned about things "changing" between us. He said that he couldn't promise a life with no bumps in the road, but if we both agreed to keep coming back to the table, we would make it.

I can't imagine my life without Keith. Yes was the only answer.

Fall in love all over again!
